Why We Published a “How BPS Stays Free” Page

Why We Published a “How BPS Stays Free” Page

If you have been using BetPredictionSite for a while, you have probably noticed two things. First, the site gives away a lot for free. Second, we have been adding more tools, more picks, and more educational content instead of locking everything behind a paywall and pretending that is some kind of gift to the betting world. That raised a fair question: how does this site actually make money?

So we decided to answer it properly and publish a dedicated transparency page. You can read it here: How BetPredictionSite Stays Free.

Why we made the page

As the site grows, it makes sense to be direct about the setup. BetPredictionSite is free because we earn affiliate commission when users sign up to betting sites through our links. That is the model. No mystery, no fake “community-funded” angle, no pretending the sportsbook buttons are just there for decoration.

We wanted one clean page that explains that clearly, shows how the site works, and makes it obvious what users are getting in return. That matters more now because BPS is not just a picks page anymore. It is turning into a much broader betting toolkit.

What users get for free

The free side of the site has grown a lot, and that is exactly why we thought this update was worth posting.

We publish daily picks during the active seasons, including NBA, MLB, and NFL when it returns. We also publish raw projections for bettors who want to do more of the work themselves instead of just tailing a final pick. On top of that, all official picks are third-party verified, which is non-negotiable for us because a betting site without transparent tracking is just a guy yelling into the void.

We also launched new tools

This is the other reason for the update. We are not just publishing picks and blog content. We are actively building tools that make the site more useful day to day.

Here are three recent additions:

Our live sports odds screen gives bettors a fast way to check current lines without bouncing around like a maniac across ten tabs.

Our betting odds calculator helps you work out payout, implied probability, and the actual math behind the number before you click bet and regret it two minutes later.

Our parlay calculator and daily parlay picks page is there for people who are going to build parlays anyway and would rather do it with working math than with vibes and overconfidence.

This is the direction BPS is heading in. More useful features, more practical betting tools, more transparency, and less nonsense.

Why the free model matters

A lot of betting sites either do one of two things. They put the good stuff behind a paywall, or they flood the page with low-effort affiliate content and hope users do not notice. We would rather take the harder route.

We want the site to be useful before anyone ever clicks a sportsbook link. That means the free content has to stand on its own. The picks have to be real, the tools have to help, and the educational content has to make bettors sharper instead of more reckless.

That is also why we published a dedicated explanation page instead of burying a vague one-liner in the footer. If the site is affiliate-funded, users should know that. Cleanly. Up front.

How to support BPS

If you like the site and want to support it, the easiest way is simple: use our links when you sign up for a betting site.

That is what keeps the picks free, helps fund new tools, and lets us keep improving the site without turning it into a subscription trap. If you already have accounts everywhere, fair enough. But if you are adding a new sportsbook, opening a backup account for line shopping, or trying a new brand, that is where using our links actually helps. The full explanation is on the page here: How BetPredictionSite Stays Free.

What comes next

We are going to keep building in the same direction. More tools. Better usability. More educational content that helps bettors understand what they are doing. More practical pages that make the site stronger than just “today’s picks.”

The goal is not to look busy. The goal is to make BPS more valuable every month.

If you have been using the site already, thanks. If you are new here, this is a good place to start:
